Reducing Gambling Related
Harm in Dorset
Welcome to EduGam
EduGam uses a public health approach to reduce gambling related harm in Dorset. This aim is split into two main free services. First is prevention via education and second is individual support for those directly or indirectly affected by gambling related harm.

Education Service

Our free education service comprises of tended information  desk’s placed in
public spaces as well as presentations / workshops delivered to organisations in
order to help them better understand and spot gambling related harm. The
information desks offer advice from one of the team and literature from our

Support Service

Our support service consists of screening individuals where required and
depending on the specific needs either create and implement a control strategy
or signpost further help to appropriate service’s provided by national charities
such as GamCare and the Gordon Moody Association, introductions to software
providers such as GamBan and self-exclusion organisation GamStop who both
